A little about Grizedale Forest
Grizedale Forest Sculptures - All the sculptures within Grizedale Forest have been created by Lakeland artists most still in residence, many of their works have won 'The prestigious Prudential Award for the Arts in 1990'. Grizedale Forest covers the fellside between Lake Coniston and Esthwaite Water. The Grizedale Forest visitor centre is situated on the road between Hawkshead to Satterthwaite. Grizedale Forest Wheelchair access
Grizedale forest has two specifically designed ‘easy going trails’ suitable for wheelchair users. A self-propelled platform for wheelchairs can be requested.

Both trail have even surfaces & moderate slopes to enable Grizedale visitors with mobility difficulties have the freedom to explore Grizedale forest and enjoy the scenic views and various wooded sculptures.
