Silverdale Mountain Biking
This page explains a few places recommended to go mountain biking in Silverdale. Generally Silverdale is a great place for cycling in the Lake District, mainly due to its range of different terrains, whether its flat roads for racing cycles or muddy trails for mountain bikes, Silverdale has its fair share of them all.
Troughbarrow Quarry
This is a great place for learning to ride a mountain bike properly, lots of ideal jumps for greta mountain bike air, steep climbs, steep descents just the thing to tune you up for other parts of the Lake District, like the Northface Trail.
Why not take a look at The North face Trail?
Many mountain bikers ride through Eaves Wood, however this is National Trust governed, meaning all mountain biking in eaves wood is not recommended, however it seems fine to allow thousands of hikers on its paths and trails, in our opinion having the same effect on the woodland.
